Former Detroit Lions defensive back Corey Ballentine didn’t take long to find a landing spot after his recent release from the Indianapolis Colts.
Three days later, Ballentine, 29, signed with the Green Bay Packers, marking a return to Green Bay and the NFC North.
Ballentine spent just one season with the Lions after being claimed off waivers in September 2021.
He appeared in four games for the Lions, contributing on special teams, before being placed on injured reserve. Ballentine played 48 total snaps and returned four kicks for 94 yards.
He was activated in November, waived the following day and re-signed to Detroit’s practice squad.
