LOS ANGELES – President Donald Trump was scheduled to sign an executive order Tuesday creating a federal task force to oversee the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt issued a statement on Monday acknowledging the move, which was to be formally announced at a signing ceremony attended by athletes and Olympics officials.
