WASHINGTON - A new poll reveals that young adults are less engaged with U.S. politics than older Americans and are less likely to say voting is important.

The poll, which was conducted by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, surveyed more than 1,400 adults between July 10-14.
