The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has cut the ribbon for five new cottages at Wind Creek State Park in Alexander City.

Alabama voters approved an $85 million bond in 2022, with some of that money going to build the cottages.

The cottages on Lake Martin at Wind Creek State Park are designed for families to use
