The San Diego Mojo will play under a new league banner starting next season.
The Pro Volleyball Federation and Major League Volleyball are merging, the leagues announced Tuesday; the new league will be known as MLV.
The new women’s volleyball league will have clubs in Atlanta; Columbus, Ohio; Dallas; Grand Rapids, Mich.; Indianapolis; Omaha, Neb.; Orlando, Fla.; and San Diego. MVL will add franchises in Washington, D.C. and Northern California at the start of the 2027 season. The Las Vegas Thrill, formerly part of the Pro Volleyball Federation, will not play in the new league.
The Mojo made their debut in 2024 as part of the Pro Volleyball Federation. The club plays its home matches at Viejas Arena.
