The New Orleans Saints are shaking up their tight end room.

The Saints released tight end Seth Green on Tuesday and claimed Mason Pline off waivers. Pline, who is 6-foot-7 and 260 pounds, was most recently with the San Francisco 49ers.

Pline, 25, went undrafted in 2024 after playing college football at Furman and Ferris State University.

The Saints have tinkered with their tight ends all offseason. The team re-signed Juwan Johnson to a three-year, $30.8 million deal and drafted UCLA's Moliki Matavao in the seventh round. New Orleans also explored signing veteran Noah Fant last month before he joined the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Saints are also waiting for tight ends Foster Moreau and Taysom Hill to recover from knee injuries. Both players have yet to practice since the injuries.
