In a new campaign email titled “Rebate check?” , Donald Trump is suggesting that Americans could receive money back from tariffs—if they support him. The message, branded with the “Trump Vance 2025” logo, includes what appears to be a poll but is in fact a fundraising appeal.

“Should bonus revenue from tariffs go back to the American People VIA CHECK?” it asks, urging recipients to respond within a two-hour deadline. Trump claims he's only sending it to his “TRUSTED ONE PERCENT” and promises that a million responses will “send these so-called ‘representatives’ a message,” which appears to be a dig against congress while casting Trump as the hero attempting to get them to approve the tariff rebate checks.
