10 Observations from Rams' joint practice with Cowboys: Jimmy Garoppolo and Davante Adams lead strong day for offense, defensive line and Quentin Lake set tone for defense

OXNARD, Calif. – The Rams conducted the first of two joint practices of the preseason, traveling north to Oxnard for a session with the Cowboys that featured extensive team drills and competitive situational work. Los Angeles' offense had a strong day behind quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and wide receiver Davante Adams, while the defensive line set the tone and Quentin Lake made the play of the day.

Offense

1) Garoppolo's passing leads the way. The veteran quarterback's passing was on point throughout the afternoon, from several completions to Adams and wide receiver Puka Nacua to a deep ball to wide receiver Tutu Atwell. Although the Co
