BILLINGS, Mont. – The Jeremy Bullock Safe Schools Summit kicked off in Billings for the first time, focusing on enhancing school safety through expert workshops and presentations. This two-day event is being held at Ben Steele Middle School Aug 5th and 6th.

The summit was established to honor Jeremy Bullock, who tragically lost his life in a school shooting in Butte in 1994. His parents, Robin and Bill Bullock, founded the summit with the aim of preventing similar tragedies.

"The headline was 'this will never happen again' this was a one-time incident and will never happen again," said the Bullocks. "And unfortunately, what we have seen over subsequent years is not only has it happened again it has happened much larger and has involved more children as we've seen with some of the speaker
