SEATTLE — Incumbent Mayor Bruce Harrell and challenger Katie Wilson are leading to advance to the November general election in the race for Seattle mayor.
Harrell and Wilson lead a crowded primary field, with Harrell trailing slightly, receiving 45% of the vote and Wilson earning 46.4%, according to early results. Counties typically release additional results daily following the election.
The two candidates have run closely matched campaigns. Harrell has raised $501,000, while Wilson has brought in $475,000.
The remaining candidates trail Harrell and Wilson, including Ry Armstrong, Clinton Bliss, Joe Mallahan, Joe Malloy, Thaddeus Whelan, and Isaiah Willoughby.
