The Union R-XI School District Board has approved a plan in the event students have to return to a virtual learning environment.

While the Alternative Method of Instruction (AMI) plan started with the COVID-19 pandemic, it came up again when schools had extensive closures after January winter storms, Assistant Superintendent Dr. Kendra Fennessey told the board July 16. ×
