This weekend, Tiara Rado Golf Course will gear up for its second large tournament in the past month when the longest continually-running open golf tournament in Colorado comes to town.
The 87th Sinclair Rocky Mountain Open will tee off Thursday. The 54-hole tournament will be contested across three days this weekend, with a cut after Friday’s penultimate round. The tournament begins with today’s pro-am, which also serves as the tournament’s practice round. This year’s player field features 102 golfers, including 76 professionals, who will compete for their share of the tournament’s $100,000 cash purse. Defending champion Dillon Stewart, a Fort Collins native, is not among the announced field for this year’s tournament.
