Ketchum's proposed comprehensive plan update is heading back to the drafting table, with a third iteration planned to address public outcry over density changes intended to support workforce housing in residential neighborhoods.
During Monday's Ketchum City Council meeting, Ketchum Planning and Building Director Morgan Landers presented the council with feedback from recent "walk and talk" events hosted in Warm Springs and West Ketchum.
Landers said that the informal meetings between city staff members and residents indicated an overall distrust for the council's leadership, with many residents asking to postpone further comprehensive plan decisions until after the upcoming election , when new council members may be chosen .
