SPRING, Texas (CW39) — A septic company is facing charges after allegedly dumping hundreds of gallons of waste into a storm drain near a residential area.

Court documents reveal that 4G Septic Solutions admitted to dumping 550 gallons of septic tank waste near homes in Spring. Investigators say they arrived at the scene last month to find a tanker truck with a hose connected to a drain—and a strong smell of sewage.

The company is accused of violating both the Texas Health and Safety Code and the Texas Water Code, which require septic waste to be disposed of at approved facilities.

An attorney for 4G Septic Solutions says they are currently reviewing the case report.
