A moment that should put an end of this entire "sex toys being thrown on the WNBA court" fracas, a fan at Crypto.com Arena seemingly threw a NSFW item at Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham on Tuesday night.

During the Fever's road game against the Los Angeles Sparks, the game halted in the first half because a green sex toy hit the court, seemingly thrown in the direction of Cunningham.

The Fever guard had been vocal on social media about the danger of throwing items like this on the court, and you could see her recoil as the NSFW item flew her way and landed on the court.

Sparks guard Kelsey Plum quickly kicked the item off the court as fans rightfully booed in the stands for what had taken place.

Tuesday's latest incident seemingly targeted a player, which takes all of this to a whole other level. This is officially a serious problem for the WNBA, and one that will likely lead to added security at games.

Any humor over this trend has evaporated; this is just now stupid, degrading and dangerous. It will likely lead to another arrest, particularly since it sure seems like this was thrown at Cunningham over her comments.
