LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — One person is dead after a pedestrian was hit by a car Tuesday night in Lexington.

The police said the crash happened around 10:45 p.m. on Liberty Road and Liberty Hill Drive, where a male was hit by a vehicle.

Officials said he died at the scene, and the road was closed for several hours.

No arrests have been made, and the crash is still under investigation.
