Blue badge holders are warned they face fines up to £1,000 and possible confiscation of their badges for breaking an important rule.

Hundreds of badges in Birmingham have been used by someone else other than the holder in recent years, our investigation revealed.

In some of these cases the holders may not have known they were misused.
