Amal Clooney has proven herself to be very much on the more-is-more bandwagon when it comes to vacay dressing.

When it comes to summer dressing, people tend to fall into one of two camps. There’s the stripped-back, Ibiza chic capsule that delights in vintage, flip-flops, sheer knits, and barely there triangle bikinis—think Kate Moss and Dakota Johnson . At the other end of the spectrum, there are those who embrace Euro summer style, cramming their Rimowa cases with Pucci prints, kitten heels, OTT jewellery and stacked espadrilles . And while the spirit of the ’80s has been permeating many A-list and Vogue editor wardrobes this summer, Clooney is looking a little further into the past.
