Locals have been given a first glimpse of how Kenilworth's ground-breaking augmented reality project will look.
The major project - launched by Kenilworth Town Council - will allow locals to use their mobile phones in Abbey Fields to see how the Augustinian abbey would have looked in the 16th century.
As previously reported by Nub News, the 'Kenilworth Revealed' application will allow guests to use their smartphones or tablets to "unlock a vivid reconstruction of the abbey's storied past", witnessing its "architectural grandeur", the daily lives of its residents, and pivotal moments in history.
An update presented at the most recent Kenilworth Town Council meeting gave a sneak peek at some of the graphics, as well as the filming for the project.
