Lindy Leah, a care home worker, allegedly "fell in love with" a boy at the children's home where she worked but insisted her "unprofessional and inappropriate" messages were "just banter".
A jury at Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday (August 5) heard that the married 44-year-old mum-of-two said she was "joking" when she suggested taking him on a "night away with balloons and flake".
The Liverpool Echo reports that Leah wore inappropriate "skin tight and highly revealing" outfits in his presence and allowed him to sleep in her bed.
She was also said to have told him that she would return his mobile phone to him in exchange for "a love bite".
Leah has now been discharged from the care home in St Helens where she was employed as a deputy manager.
