Donald Trump's approval rating has fallen dramatically among men according to a new poll from University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass Amherst), dropping from 48% approval in April, to 39% in July. During that period, Trump's approval fell among women from 39% to 35%. The numbers correspond with other national polls that show Trump's approval rating at the lowest point in his second term heading into July.

"Trump has cultivated a 'masculine' reputation and sought to build support among American men," said Jesse Rhodes, professor of political science at UMass Amherst, "but, strikingly, we find that support for Trump has deteriorated most substantially among members of this group."

Overall the poll has Trump's approval rating at 38% for July, and his disapproval rating at 58%. Appro
