FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- Until late June, Ethan Kirby's friend group included a trio of Myrtle Beach teens who he was just getting to know.

But all that changed on June 24 when one of Kirby's closest relationships ended on Johnsonville road.

That's when 16-year-old Trey Wright was fatally shot in an altercation over a girl that authorities said was captured on video.

Devan Raper, 19, of Conway, was the first to be arrested on June 25. He’s charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime and remains in jail without bond.

Wright’s girlfriend, Gianna Kistenmacher, 17, is facing an accessory-before-the-fact charge. She was recently granted bond and released to home confinement.
