Summer work is well underway for the Michigan women’s basketball team. There are several new faces accompanying a solid group of returnees, headlined by three talented guards who were top-five in scoring during their freshman seasons: Olivia Olson (first), Syla Swords (second) and Mila Holloway (fourth).
In a recent interview with play-by-play radio broadcaster Brian Boesch, head coach Kim Barnes Arico spoke about how much progress the group has made on and off the court.
“It’s always a time to have some fun, work on their development on the court, but really to try to connect and build our chemistry off the court,” Barnes Arico said.
