An associate professor at Northern Arizona University was recently awarded a National Science Foundation grant to start a citizen science project focused on changing environments in Antarctica.
Department of Astronomy and Planetary Sciences associate professor Mark Salvatore will be leading this project, aided by Ph.D. student Gavin Moriarty. They will work with ecological researchers in the McMurdo Dry Valleys of Antarctica and the Zooniverse crowdsourcing platform to do so. Copy article link
