The case of a Colorado Springs Police sergeant accused of intimidating a 10-year-old witness was dismissed last week.

Prosecutors with the Fourth Judicial District Attorney’s Office told Judge Michael Henry during a July 28 hearing that they did not have enough evidence to convict Sgt. Glenn Eric Thomas, according to reporting from the Colorado Springs Gazette .

Thomas was suspected of victim intimidation, victim tampering and violating a protection order . The charges were dropped Monday, July 28, and all documents related to the case were sealed.

“No such records regarding Mr. Thomas exist,” said Kate Singh, a spokesperson for the district attorney’s office, in an email to The Denver Post.

Singh declined to comment on why the charges were dropped.
