LUBBOCK, Texas -- In a press release Wednesday morning, Covenant Medical Center announced that the U.S. News & World Report named Covenant as the Best Regional Hospital in the Northwestern Texas Region.

According to the release, Covenant was recognized for high performing procedure and condition areas including congestive heart failure, hip fracture, Leukemia/Lymphoma/Myeloma, colon cancer surgery, kidney failure, prostate cancer surgery, heart arrhythmia and pneumonia.

Covenant Medical Center was also separately recognized as high performing for knee replacements.
