The city of Dover recently got more than a few helping hands in cleaning up Dover City Park and Dover City Beach — thanks to the team as Aspire Institute.
The effort came about when Dover Mayor George Eskridge was approached by the team at Aspire Institute of Sandpoint which wanted to offer some extra hands for park and beach cleanup.
“Our park is small, less than 3 acres, but gets a lot of usage especially in these peak summer months,” Eskridge said. “Each day resident bicyclists, dog walkers, families of beachgoers and many visitors of Dover Bay Resort enjoy Dover’s City Park and sandy beach on the shores of the beautiful Pend Oreille River.”
