ATLANTA — A recent study warned that health insurance premiums could increase for Georgians in 2026, mirroring a national trend driven in part by pharmaceutical tariffs and inflation-related pressures.

The study from the nonprofit and independent health research group Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) stated that insurers in the Affordable Care Act Marketplace, also known as Georgia Access in Georgia, have proposed an increase in premiums to make up for rising costs.

According to KFF , insurers in the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace are proposing the largest premium increases in over five years.
