The final phase of a controversial plan for 17 new homes which Balsall Common villagers say will "set a worrying precedent" has been submitted to planners.
Plans to build homes on land at Catchems Corner off Waste Lane in the village were originally submitted in 2023 with outline planning permission granted by councillors in February.
But at the Solihull Council planning meeting where the scheme was given the go-ahead, Berkswell Parish councillor Richard Drake warned: "As a council and community we fear being overwhelmed with piecemeal developments.
"This application sets a worrying precedent for other sites in Balsall Common and across Solihull borough."
