Lindsay Lohan is currently touring the globe to promote Freakier Friday , the sequel to her cult film released in 2004. And 21 years after the first movie, she’s not hesitating to seek inspiration from her own filmography.

The fashion show began off the red carpet. While on a trip to New York, Lohan wore outfits that hid a few references to old film projects—courtesy of her stylist, Andrew Mukamal . The first look? A yellow tweed ensemble by Balmain that could have come straight out of Clueless protagonist Cher Horowitz’s closet. But in fact, the outfit was a reference to an entirely different character: one of the twins Lohan played in the 1998 Disney film The Parent Trap .
