Right out of the gate, the big headline here is that Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon are bringing back some of that golden age SNL magic by working together on a new comedy series on Netflix. The smaller headline is that the series sure sounds a lot like Stick . How is this not Stick ?

The untitled 10-episode series stars Ferrell, in his first TV comedy series, as Lonnie “The Hawk” Hawkins, a fictional golf legend. Shannon will play his foul-mouthed ex-wife Stacy.
