FORT STEWART, Ga. — An emergency dispatch call requesting mutual aid at the scene reveals the location of a shooting at Fort Stewart in Georgia.

Base officials said five soldiers were shot in what they called an "active shooter incident."

The wounded soldiers were treated on-site at first. Mutual aid was requested afterward.

In the recording, the dispatcher asks for mutual aid at Building 8420, "2nd Brigade."

Officials had previously said it happened in the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team area.

The building is in the area of Vanguard Road.

Maps show this is near the Dental Clinic 4, the Johnson Gym, the North Troop Medical Center and dining facilities.
