Authorities discovered two people dead inside a Greenwich home on Tuesday, Aug. 5. 

Greenwich police were called to a home in Old Greenwich for a welfare check when they found the bodies. Authorities did not provide any further details on the circumstances surrounding the discovery. 

Authorities are withholding the names of the deceased until they can notify their next of kin. 

Officers said there is no ongoing threat to the community.
