Michigan is in the midst of its fall camp and preparing for the 2025 season, which begins on Aug. 30 against New Mexico at Michigan Stadium. While the season is just a few short weeks away, big decisions will be made, including at the quarterback position.
While a QB1 hasn’t been named, it’ll likely be either Fresno State transfer Mikey Keene or five-star true freshman Bryce Underwood earning the honors. Earlier this week, Michigan offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey talked about when he’d like to see the starter named.
“I think you always want to know as soon as you can. That’s the goal. I do think we have a good plan on competition and getting guys reps. More than just reps, put them in different situations. It takes time to do that,” Lindsey said.
