A Prattville man has been arrested on a series of sex charges involving a child.

Investigators say 47-year-old Rodney Price has been indicted on charges of first-degree rape, second-degree sodomy and sexual torture.

Investigators say the victim is a juvenile female. Her age hasn’t been released, but they say she and Price were known to each other. Action 8 News isn’t releasing other details about their connection in order to protect her identity.

Price turned himself in at the Autauga County Sheriff’s Office last week, investigators say. His bond was set at $180,000, and he has since been released from custody.

District Attorney CJ Robinson said the investigation has been going on for about two years.
