Google is rolling out a fix to the prominent issue of unresponsive buttons and gestures on Pixel phones with its software update this August.
After Google released Android 16 in June , many Google Pixel owners started reporting issues with unresponsive phone gestures and buttons. Many statements claimed “complete unresponsiveness” of buttons or long delays to register taps of “over 30 seconds.” Some users had to repeatedly press the back button before the device would register it.
In Google’s announcement for the August Pixel software update, the company addressed these prominent issues with a “fix for issues with 3-button navigation and gesture navigation in certain conditions.”
