Weather maps have red in England next week as a heatwave has been predicted with highs of 33C.

The maps from WX Charts show a heatwave could arrive between Tuesday, August 12, and Thursday, August 14.

Highs of 31C temperatures are set to be felt in Somerset on Tuesday, while 30C could be felt in Devon and Dorset.

The following day on Wednesday, August 13, temperatures of 31C are to set to remain in Somerset, while 30C is forecast for Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire and Gloucestershire.

However the highest and most wide-spread temperatures are set to arrive on Thursday, according to wxcharts.com.
