Wilmington residents struggling with their utility bills can get some help.
Wilmington City Councilmember Shané Darby, who represents northwest Wilmington, is partnering with Mayor John Carney's office to host the "Energy Resource Event" from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on August 6 at Victorious Faith Christian Worship Center at 500 Concord Pike in Wilmington to offer residents some assistance with their bills.
Delmarva Power customers are invited to the event and will have the chance to discuss their bill, payment plans and saving strategies with a Delmarva Power representative.
