BEAVERTON, Ore. (KPTV) - A man is facing multiple charges following a pursuit involving Washington County deputies last month.

At about 2 a.m., on July 28, deputies tried to stop a driver in a silver Subaru, identified as 28-year-old Alberto Gamboa-Mendez, who was wanted for multiple outstanding warrants.

Gamboa-Mendez is accused of leading deputies in a short pursuit before he crashed near SW 196th Avenue and SW Blaine Court. Gamboa-Mendez then ran into a nearby neighborhood.

Deputies, along with K-9 Griff, search the neighborhood for Gamboa-Mendez. The sheriff’s office says K-9 Griff found him hiding underneath a parked car.

Gamboa-Mendez was arrested and booked into the Washington County Jail for the outstanding warrants and new charges.
