SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Indiana Gov. Mike Braun was in Michiana this afternoon paying a visit to the Indiana Dinosaur Museum in South Bend. And while he was there, he discussed the redistricting of Indiana ahead of Vice President JD Vance’s expected visit to Indianapolis tomorrow.

This could potentially gerrymander areas across the state, including District 1, which means that Congressman Frank Mrvan could be moved out of the northwest Indiana district.

Gov. Braun says the Speaker of the House and the President pro tempore of the Senate would need to agree on this redistricting for this to move forward, but no special session is to be expected to discuss the redistricting.
