SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - The heavy rain that fell in parts of Siouxland Tuesday night into Wednesday morning quickly moved to the south as temperatures continued their slow upward climb that we’ve been on the past couple of days.

Heading into tonight, we’re going to see a slight chance of thunderstorms, and if they form a couple of them could get a little strong as Siouxland is in a Marginal Risk (level 1 out of 5) of severe weather.

However, much of the area may end up staying dry and mild with lows in the upper 60s.

Thursday could give eastern Siouxland a slight chance of a lingering thundershower during the early morning hours. Otherwise, most of the day is looking partly cloudy as more heat and humidity builds into the region. Expect highs on Thursday to be in the upper 80s to near 90 de
