HARRODSBURG, Ky. (FOX 56) — An ambitious new expansion into Harrodsburg will lead to iPhones and Apple Watches sold around the world featuring Kentucky-made glass.
Apple announced on Wednesday that the company invested $2.5 billion into a partnership with Corning to "help bring the world's largest and most advanced smartphone glass production line to a factory in Harrodsburg."
The partnership will come to fruition with a new Apple-Corning Innovation Center, which will also open in the Commonwealth, per a news release.
