VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — 24 youth baseball teams are currently on their way to Vincennes for the 2025 Cal Ripken World Series.

For the 8th time, the Vincennes Cub League will be hosting the event for 9 and 10-year-old baseball teams.

Wednesday, the international teams from Aruba, Germany, Mexico, and the Philippines arrived, while others from across the country will be coming in Thursday.

In 2022, this tournament, with 18 teams, brought an economic impact of almost $5 million to the area. This year, CEO of Knox County Development, Chris Pfaff, said that number could be even larger.
