TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Six local community members were recognized today for positive impacts in the Wabash Valley.

Wednesday, our station, along with Camp Navigate and Horizon Health, held a luncheon to honor our Six Over 60 winners. This year's winners are Marla Flowers, Terry Hogan, Richard Becker, Audrey Lientz, Beth Tevlin, and Bart Colwell.

Recipients told us it was an honor to be a part of this group. We also asked them what advice they have for future generations.

"I think find where your passion is and follow that," said Bart Colwell, President and CEO of the Hometown Savings Bank. "If you can find something to do that can involve helping others, that's when life takes on its deepest meaning, when we find a cause that's bigger than our own."
