EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The University of Evansville is adding a logo to a popular underpass.

Work has begun at the intersection of Weinbach and the Lloyd, just under the express way.

The walls have been cleaned, the first layer of paint is down, and cracks are being filled.

Turpen’s Painting has been contracted to paint the Universities official logo on both the east and west facing walls beneath the expressway.

“We love being involved with university. Anything we can do to help out or give back to our community,” says Chad Turpen, owner of Turpen’s Paiting. “As I always say, it’s not just providing a service, it’s being of service to our community.
