BUFFALO, N.Y. — There is a lot of political chatter happening about redistricting as some politicians in Texas and here in New York and other states are ripping into each other back and forth.

But what does this political power debate mean for us?

2 On Your Side tried to sort through it all with a political expert.

We've see the political threats and theatrics with Republican Governor and Democratic lawmakers in Texas as they battle over a plan by the Lonestar State to redraw their Congressional districts for five more potential Republican seats.

Some Texas Democratic lawmakers just took off to block that Texas GOP plan and some ended up in New York state where redistricting can also be a battleground.
