One of Dave Schmidt's primary goals if elected to the Frederick City Council is to increase the stock of housing in the city, he told The Frederick News-Post in a podcast interview.

Schmidt, who served in the Marine Corps and now co-owns Wag's Restaurant on South Market Street, is running for City Council District 3 in the upcoming Democratic primary.
