FVRLibraries’ levy lid lift was still passing after additional ballots were counted Wednesday, with some 750 ballots left to be counted in Clark County. Just over 90,000 ballots had been counted here as of Wednesday.

The measure had 52,988 “yes” votes, or 54.12 percent, to 44,921 “no” votes, or 45.88 percent, according to Clark County Elections data.

In addition to Clark, the levy is on the ballot in Klickitat, Cowlitz and Skamania counties.

It’s passing in Clark County with 54.31 percent (48,880 voters), while 45.69 percent (41,123 voters) rejected it.

The levy requires a simple majority from the combined counties’ vote totals to pass.
