A man in Warrington was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after allegedly waking a person up, pulling them outside and beating them with a closed fist until their face was covered in blood, police said on Wednesday.

According to police, 40-year-old Timothy Joseph Campbell of Warrington arrived at 800 block of Mustang Road at around 4:30 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, Aug. 6, to "obtain a key to a relative's home following a domestic incident."

When police arrived at the scene, they say they found a 61-year-old victim with significant facial injuries, lacerations and a hip injury.

Responding officers also said the victim's face was covered in blood at the scene.
