NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A ground stop is in effect for all United Airlines flights heading to Chicago and other airports across the U.S. Wednesday night due to a "technology issue," and it has affected arrivals to Norfolk International Airport.

All United Airlines flights bound for Chicago O'Hare International Airport have been grounded at their departing airport, the FAA's website states.

A United flight scheduled to arrive to Norfolk at 11:28 p.m. has been delayed. Most other United flights are currently scheduled to arrive in Norfolk later tonight, though United flights from Houston and Denver scheduled to arrive after midnight are also delayed. There are no scheduled United flight departures from Norfolk Wednesday evening.
